Performance and use 

Brakes are used for working brake and emergency brake on the mine and hoist, and their drive and control are coordinated by separate hydraulic stations. It is the last line of defense for all the safety protection of the elevator, so the brake occupies the most important position in the elevator. The second generation brake has more prominent advantages than the first generation brake structure:

• This series of brakes can be built-in sensors to realize the fixed-point braking force monitoring of the braking process; two forms of dynamic monitoring; monitor whether the elevator meets the requirements of triple static torque in the “coal safety regulations”; and provide accurate and reliable real-time data for the safety maintenance of the brake system of the hoist.
• The high pressure sealing of the oil cylinder device has only one link, the sealing performance is better, and the leakage link is less, which avoids the oil leakage phenomenon of the previous old structure.
• Due to less sealing links, the resistance caused by the internal activity mechanism is less.
• The piston is only freely positioned by the cylinder and in floating form, which avoids the danger of braking force loss caused by the old structural cylinder and the piston.
• The brake opening force is transmitted by a group of multiple bolts in parallel to make the internal force transmission uniform and stable.
