Maintenance tips for mining winches

An important part of daily production in mines is the use of mining hoisting winches, which directly affects the output of minerals. Therefore, in order to extend the service life of mining hoisting winches, daily maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting work must be in place. Below, we will explain how to carry out this part of work:

  (1) Use a hand hammer to check whether the connecting parts (such as bolts, rivets, pins, etc.) of each part are loose, and observe the meshing of the reducer gear through the inspection hole.

(2) Check the oil supply of the lubrication system and the working condition of the brake system.

(3) Check the looseness of the lead screw nut of the depth indicator, and whether the protection device and instrument are working normally.

(4) Check the stability of each rotating part, such as whether the bearing vibrates, and whether the base and foundation bolts (screws) of each part are loose.

(5) Test the overwinding protection device.

(6) Manually test the rope loosening signal device and test various signals (including full warehouse, start, stop, emergency signal, etc.).

(7) After manually checking the signal device of the hoist, check whether the contacts of each contactor, including the signal disk, the control disk, the commutator, etc., are worn. If so, the equipment must be replaced in time, and the burned parts must be repaired in time to maintain good contact performance and avoid failure.

(8) Check the rotation of the rope adjustment clutch and the crown wheel, such as the gasket and bearing.

(9) Check whether the structure of the lifting container and its auxiliary mechanisms (such as car arresters, connecting devices, tank ears, etc.) is normal.

(10) Check the connection and lubrication of the springs, catchers, linkage rods, etc. of the anti-fall system.
